| Uncle Bob has a great tip for you
that AOL does not want you to know. Did you know most of you can
surf the net using them as your internet provider but without have to see
everything in their small screen or all the other daily garbage? And it's
easy!
How it works:
All newer computers (past 4 or 5
years) have the Internet explore browser incorporated into the operating
system. You can find this by going to your desktop and clicking on
the BLUE E icon. Find this icon but do not click or open the browser
yet. Icon looks something like this:
Now login to your AOL program.
One you are logged on (you see the welcome screen) and able to surf the
net with AOL, go back to your desktop and open your internet explorer browser
by clicking on the blue E. Enter any www address in the browser (like www.unclebobscars.com)
You should now be able to surf the net and go to any site using the browser
without seeing your AOL program.
Remember! You must sign into
AOL first and then open the internet explorer or other browser. This also
works for Netscape, and Opera browsers and almost any type of other browser.
